Why?
For most of us, we pictured ourselves changing the world. We imagined a world where we were important. Where we could help people.
I didn’t grow up to be any of those things, but I did something just as amazing. I became an insurance agent!
Wait! Hear me out! I know what you’re thinking, “There is NOTHING amazing about insurance. She’s full of sh*t.” It’s not the insurance that’s exciting though. The logistics are boring, but the people? The people are amazing. Seeing people grow, get married, retire, add new businesses to their accounts, and them trusting you to be there for them through it all is amazing. The connection is unbelievably fulfilling.
Knowing that I am selling a policy that I would sell to my own mother (I have sold to my mom btw. Thanks mom!) and if you need me, I can be there for you later…..that’s meaningful to me.
I started this blog as a way to expound upon that philosophy of being a helping neighbor. That starts BEFORE you incur a loss. My goal is: To provide everyone on this site for with information that makes them feel empowered in making decisions that impact their future. I will occasionally incorporate some lifestyle pieces as well.
